On behalf of the County of Los Angeles, I would like to welcome you to our investor relations website. We appreciate your interest and investment in bonds and notes issued by the County, as these securities allow us to make critical investments in public infrastructure and support our critical services to the residents and businesses of the County.

Los Angeles County is the most populous county in the nation, with more than 9.8 million residents across 4,083 square miles. A charter county governed by a five-member elected Board of Supervisors, it provides municipal services to more than one million residents of unincorporated areas and to many cities by contract. The County’s economy is diverse, with no single industry accounting for more than 22 percent of employment.

The County finances its needs through tax and revenue anticipation notes, which help meet General Fund expenditures during the fiscal year, and through lease revenue bonds issued by the Los Angeles County Public Works Financing Authority. The County has no debt applicable to its legal debt limit, which is 1.25 percent of assessed value, or about $26.5 billion.

We are committed to maintaining our strong bond and note ratings, and we are also committed to being transparent with the investor community and the public at large. This site carries our annual comprehensive financial reports, monthly investment reports, annual cash flow projections, notices of potential financings, Official Statements, and rating reports.
